This will enable us to develop more programs, expand our team, and reach 100 children by the end of 2025!
Today, our 3 teachers pour out their efforts to educate 60 children from 2 slum villages in the city of Phnom Penh. Over the week, we provide educational classes covering the subjects: English, Math, Science, Moral Studies, Life Skills, Bible Studies, and Arts.
Our desire is to see our students receive the full guidance and support needed to flourish academically and holistically. This can only be done effectively with a bigger team of teachers and a bigger facility to host our growing number of students. A bigger team and facility would enable us to achieve our goal of educating 100 students in 2025.
OUR CHALLENGES
1. SPACE
With 60 students in our weekday classes and over 150 adults, youths, and children for our weekly church services; spaces in our current facility are filled to the brim.
To accommodate the large group we serve; tables and chairs would usually have to be removed to allow adults and children to sit on the floor for various activities.
2. INFRASTRUCTURE
Built on uneven ground, our current facility faces infrastructure setbacks such as:

This poses environmental risks to the communities we serve in the center.
